GREENSBORO, N.C. – UPDATE:
The ACC announced Monday afternoon that Virginia Tech will take on North Carolina on January 24. The game will tip off at 8 p.m. and will be televised on the ACC Network.

This matchup was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 29 but had to be postponed after Virginia Tech had to enter COVID-19 protocols. This will mark the 86th meeting all-time between the two programs.
Virginia Tech will now have a three-game road swing beginning at NC State on Jan. 19, Jan. 22 they travel to Boston College and will wrap up with the Tar Heels on Jan. 24.

The Hokies will not be playing against North Carolina in men’s basketball this week.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that the game, scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed while Virginia Tech is following COVID-19 protocols.
A new date has not been announced yet.
