Dublin, Va. – Thursday night included a prep wrestling match in Dublin. Carroll County was on the road at Pulaski.
Xavier Ramsey battled Hailey Caviness in an exhibition to start things.
Carroll’s Caviness scored a reversal, but Pulaski’s Ramsey eventually prevails by fall in the third period.
Now to the varsity match.
At 182 pounds Conner Gallimore took on Brayden Hunt.
The Cavaliers’s Hunt converted a throw-by for a takedown, and later works the legs for near fall points and an 8-0 major decision victory.
at 195 Dante Holmes squared off against Andrew Myers.
Carroll’s Myers converted the single leg and finish for the takedown early, he goes up 8-3. But Pulaski’s Holmes comes alive in the third period and applies the clamps for the fall.
at 285 pounds, Zeke Serber took on Dameon Robinson. The Cougars Serber was in control the entire period, and he wins by pin at 1:29.
Pulaski County was dominate tonight in dual meet action.
