A California man was arrested Tuesday after he asked police officers for directions to a mobile home park for a drug deal, reports KCRA.
Police say Chris Meng Lee, 40, parked in front of a fire hydrant and walked over to officers sitting in squad cars to ask them for directions around 1:45 a.m. When officers became suspicious of Lee, they searched his car, finding a half-pound of marijuana and a loaded firearm.
Police also searched Lee's phone after his consent, and found text messages showing he was on his way to sell the drugs and he gotten lost.
Lee was arrested on firearm possession, carrying a concealed loaded weapon, possession of marijuana for a sale and driving without a valid driver's license.
