ROANOKE, Va. – The Hotel Roanoke is getting a facelift in the new year, and the renovation project will change what people see when they walk in the front door.
According to the general manager, some of the improvements include a new place to eat called Steam, which is named after the area's railway history. The café will include on-the-go options and Starbucks coffee.
There will also be upgrades to the outdoor patio area.
The multi-million dollar changes and additions should be ready by mid-March.
