Kroger looking to hire hundreds ahead of the holiday season

Kroger will continue having in-person open interviews every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.

Kroger has announced that it’s seeking to hire hundreds just in time for the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

The grocer is offering an hourly rate of $17/hour and more than $22/hour when benefits are included, according to a press release.

Employees will also qualify for healthcare and retirement benefits, flexible schedules, an advance payment option and discounts.

Plus, with Kroger Mid-Atlantic’s tuition reimbursement program, its full-time and part-time employees can receive up to $21,000 for their education. The funding covers courses from the GED level up to Ph.D. programs.

If you’re interested in applying, Kroger will be holding in-person open interviews every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. until all positions are filled.

There will also be virtual hiring events throughout the month of November.
