WYTHEVILLE (WSLS 10) - For the next few days, the U.S.Highway 21 corridor in Wythe County is a yard sale lover's dream come true.
People from all across the u-s have gathered for 100 mile long road market. Hundreds of vendors have set up booths on property all along U.S. Highway 21 from Wytheville to North Carolina.

It's part of the organization called "Take a Break from the Interstate."
The idea is that visitors can travel for 100 miles and see what items that are up for grabs and also check out what the U.S. 21 corridor has to offer.
People who come said they planned some people's vacation around the event. Others have said they traveled and wanted to see what was available along the 100 mile corridor.
Tourism officials said last year Wythe County easily generated six figures.
"This has become a national event and we're very excited about it, we get calls from Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and I hope in the days ahead that it continues to grow into something even bigger," Jeremy Farley, Wythe County Tourism Director said.
The event continues Saturday and wraps up Sunday.
