ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS 10) -Â Smith/Packett, a Roanoke-based real estate development firm, announced this week Texas Roadhouse will open its first area location at South Peak, a mixed-use development in Roanoke County.
Texas Roadhouse will join the Hilton Garden Inn as well as single-family and condominium residences as part of the South Peak community.

Texas Roadhouse, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, has 456 locations in 49 states and five international locations. The new restaurant at South Peak will join their other 12 restaurants already in Virginia.
The restaurant is famous for its hand-cut steaks, ribs, made from scratch sides and fresh ingredients.
County officials said it's a welcome addition to South Peak and represents a more than $2.5 million investment in the region.
