SALEM (WSLS 10) - Salem police arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault case.
Joshua Petitpas, 28, is charged with one count of rape.

The investigation began on Tuesday, December 15. The victim told officers she was sexually assaulted in the 1400 block of Filson Street by a man with whom she was in a relationship.
She received treatment at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and has since been released.
Petitpas is being held at the Roanoke County-Salem Jail without bond.
