PULASKI (WSLS 10) - Baseball season in Pulaski is underway as of June 23rd with a new team and renovated park.
The changes come after the Mariners organization announced it would be leaving the town last year. The Yankees organization has taken over and $3.5 million has been spent on improving Calfee Park.

Changes include the addition of more general admission and VIP seating, new bathrooms, more parking, and faster ticketing options.
Leaders are hopeful the changes will encourage more people from across Southwest Virginia to attend games.
The Pulaski Yankees faced off against the Danville Braves in the home opener.
