Rocky Mount officer to run 5K in full police uniform

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. – A Rocky Mount officer is going to run a 5K in Washington D.C. next week, in full uniform. 

Brandt Gower will be participating in the Police Memorial Week 5K on Saturday as a way to fundraise for the new Rocky Mount-Franklin County First Responders Memorial. 

Gower has set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for the memorial.
