The sheriff's office will no longer have to fork out rent money to house certain divisions in other buildings around the county due to lack of space. They will occupy two floors for now and save the third floor for future growth.
The sheriff's office says plans for its old facility are still in the works, but it will turn the building back over to the county next week.
