Lockdown Blessing Buckets boost emergency preparedness in Grayson County schools

GRAYSON COUNTY, Va. – Grayson County Public Schools is taking proactive steps to enhance safety and preparedness by installing Lockdown Blessing Buckets in classrooms across the county. These boxes, generously donated by God’s Pitcrew in Danville, are designed to support students and staff during emergency situations and extended lockdowns.

Each Lockdown Blessing Box is equipped with essential supplies to address a variety of needs that may arise during a lockdown. The contents include water, a tourniquet, honey for individuals with low blood sugar or diabetes, first aid kits, and additional resources to ensure the well-being of everyone in the classroom.

With these boxes placed in every classroom, the district is well-prepared to handle emergencies with confidence and care.
