“For as long as I can remember, I’ve been called to serve,” said Dr. Miller. “Whether it was as a doctor saving lives, a city councilman fighting for jobs, or a coach investing in our kids, I’ve always believed in putting people first. I’m running because Southside Virginia needs experienced leadership, real solutions, and a representative who will never stop fighting for the people.”
According to the release, Dr. Miller began his life of service in Gate City working on a farm and driving a tractor at just 14 years old.
Dr. Miller founded Cardiology Consultants of Danville and pioneered the region’s first open-heart bypass program in partnership with Duke University. He also performed Danville’s first-ever heart catheterization in 1990, according to Dr. Miller.
“I never stopped showing up for the people of Danville—and now, I’m ready to take that fight to Richmond,” said Dr. Miller.
