VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – UPDATE:
A body was retrieved from a pond on Monday afternoon that matched the description of Juan Acevedo, Virginia State Police said.

VSP later confirmed that the body found in the lake was Acevedo’s.
ORIGINAL STORY:
An Amber Alert has been issued out of Virginia Beach for a child abduction that took place yesterday at 9:00 a.m.
12-year-old Juan Acevedo was last seen in Virginia Beach and is believed to be in extreme danger after being abducted by an unknown person.
He was last seen wearing blue pants, a red hoodie, and black shoes.
