CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – A teenager in Christiansburg, Ashton Hodge, experienced a life-threatening sled riding accident on January 11th, leading to two brain bleeds and required him to be placed in a medically induced coma.
Today, 10 News spoke with his mom, who shared some uplifting news—her son has begun to wake up, and his personality remains intact. She expressed her gratitude, saying she’s fortunate the situation wasn’t worse.
