Several school districts across the Commonwealth will be receiving thousands of dollars to make sure students can start their day off with a full stomach.

No Kid Hungry Virginia has announced more than $201,600 in grants to 10 school districts, including four in our region. Funds will go toward launching flexible ‘Breakfast After the Bell’ initiatives such as grab-and-go meals, breakfast in the classroom and second-chance breakfast models.
