Two men injured after shooting in Lynchburg Tuesday evening

One victim is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition

LYNCHBURG, Va. Update:

The LPD is currently investigating a shooting that injured two men in Lynchburg Tuesday evening.

The LPD said they responded to reports of shots fired at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Park Avenue.

Upon arrival officers found one male that had sustained injuries and was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital.

10 News has learned that around the same time another man arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital via private transport with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. LPD said it believes that both men were injured in the same incident.

One man is in stable condition, and the other is in critical condition.
