Lynchburg Police search for home invasion suspects

Authorities said no injuries have been reported at this time

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for two suspects in connection with a home invasion that happened Sunday evening.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m., two suspects who were wearing masks and armed with firearms entered a home in the 400 block of Eldon Street through an unlocked door and demanded money.

As they ran away from the property, the suspects fired several shots into the air.

A purse was stolen during the incident but was later recovered by officers. No one was hurt in this incident, LPD reports.
