ROANOKE Va – Residents are getting familiar with snow day routines and a few 10 News spoke with at the grocery store are ready to embrace more winter weather.
One person tells us it has benefitted them to create business delivering groceries on Instacart. An increase in orders has kept them busy.
“Yeah it’s a lot of bread, milk, TV dinners, you know, things that you could put in the oven or microwave, you know, make sure you go out and get that because you gonna need it for this snow,” said James Leftwich.
We spoke with another person who is already looking forward to spring.
“Well, I grew up in Pennsylvania where we had a lot of snow, and I lived in Chicago for ten years and I kind of have done my snow things. So, I can’t say I’m real excited about it.” said local shopper Marilyn Lerch.
