LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg Police Department said they are investigating a shooting that left a minor injured on Thursday afternoon.
LPD said they received reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Hillcrest Avenue around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday. After their arrival, they were notified that a minor had arrived at the Lynchburg General Hospital with an injury that seemed to be a gunshot wound. LPD said it isn’t clear whether the incidents are connected, but the victim is in critical condition.
