HENRY COUNTY, Va. – A man was arrested and one person was injured following a shooting on Wednesday, Henry County Sheriff’s Office said.
HCSO said they responded to reports of shots fired into a vehicle on Fellowship Drive around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Upon arrival, deputies found a person with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand.

Authorities said that upon investigation, they identified 57-year-old Stacey Moss as the suspect. Moss had went back into a residence after the incident and refused to exit when law enforcement arrived. After negotiation, Moss exited the home and was taken into custody without incident.
Moss was charged with the following:
- Malicious Wounding (felony)
- Shoot into an Occupied Motor Vehicle (2 counts) (felony)
- Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony (felony)
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (felony)
- Reckless Handling of a Firearm (misdemeanor)
- Discharge of a Firearm in a Public Place (misdemeanor)
Moss is currently being held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
