No injuries reported after house fire in Roanoke County Wednesday

Three adult occupants made it out of the house safely

ROANOKE CO., Va. – Three adults are safe after a house fire in Roanoke County Wednesday night.

At 9:51 p.m. ROCO Fire and Rescue responded to the reports of a house fire on the 4700 block of Goodman Road in the Mt. Pleasant area.

When first responders arrived on the scene they found smoke showing from the rear of the one-story home and was immediately marked a working fire and was brought under control in 15 minutes.

The home was occupied by three adults who all made it out safely, 10 News has learned. The fire damage was contained to a single room and its contents.

The Roanoke County Fire Marshal’s Office is on scene to investigate a cause and provide a damage estimate, according to the department.
