A 10 News viewer wrote to us about a family in need this Holiday season.
38-year-old veteran Josh Sims was a pillar of his community, church, and a grandfather-to-be before his life was cut short.
On Nov. 30 Sims was involved in a car crash, leaving him in a coma with traumatic injuries and multiple skull fractures.
Sims passed away early Sunday, Dec.9.
“He was so happy and joyful, and he was such in love with his family, he loved everything about his family,” said his 14-year-old daughter Olivia Sims. “And his work, he adored. He always went into work happy,”
Sims was the main source of income for the family of five, and they’re struggling to figure out how to make ends meet.
