PULASKI CO., Va. – A group in the New River Valley has been able to continue a Christmas tradition despite the impacts of Hurricane Helene.
Each year, the Fraternal Order of Police in Radford holds a Cops and Kids drive to give to families who need help with Christmas.
But after their building was destroyed by floods they thought the program might not happen this year until people helped them raise enough money to still hold their annual drive.
Over the weekend, they held their celebration with presents, food, fun with all the kids and families.
