ROANOKE, Va. – A joint warrant operation conducted by the Roanoke Police Department (RPD) and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) led to 79 arrests in Northwest Roanoke on Dec. 3 and 4.
The operation targeted fugitives in the city, resulting in 46 arrests on pick-up warrants and 33 for permitted warrants. Additionally, eight emergency protective orders were served.

The effort involved collaboration with several surrounding agencies, including the Virginia State Police, the Star City Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Bedford Police Department, and the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office.
The Roanoke Police Department expressed gratitude to the U.S. Marshals Service for sponsoring the operation and for their ongoing partnership.
