10 News is learning more about a murder case in which a Roanoke teen was shot and killed at Myrtle Beach while in the area for an AAU basketball tournament on July 20.

The father of 18-year-old Gary Jaquise Abraham, who was charged in connection with the shooting death of 16-year-old Jakolbi Taylor, was also arrested over the weekend, according to recent documents.
As we’ve reported previously, Gary was charged with the following in relation to the incident:
- One count of murder
- Three counts of attempted murder
- One count of Possession of a Firearm in the commission of a violent crime

UPDATE
An 18-year-old who was charged in connection with the murder of a Roanoke teen in Myrtle Beach will remain behind bars.
During a Sunday hearing, a bond was not set for 18-year-old Gary Abraham, of Aiken, South Carolina, NBC News affiliate WMBF reports. A municipal court judge stated that it would have to be set by a circuit court judge. At this time, a bond hearing in circuit court has not been set yet, but Abraham is expected to appear in court on Sept. 20.
Abraham has been charged with the following in connection with the shooting death of 16-year-old Jakolbi Taylor:
- One count of murder
- Three counts of attempted murder
- One count of Possession of a Firearm in the commission of a violent crime
