Southern Team Subaru also contributed $10,000 to the LLS Urgent Need Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Fund, which supports young blood cancer patients and their families with financial assistance for non-medical related expenses, the company said.

“From our team to Southern Team, we thank you for your compassion and care and the loving gift,” said Dr. William Fintel, medical director of Carilion Hematology-Oncology. “The minute cancer invades the life of a person, a team is needed. The gift bag and personalized note of encouragement is exactly what the doctor ordered. Many, many thanks.”
