FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating a deadly car crash which happened on Saturday around 3:45 p.m. on Route 122 in Franklin County.
Investigators said a 2014 Chrysler 200 was traveling north on Route 122 when the car crossed the center-line and hit a 2016 Toyota Tundra head-on.

The driver of the Chrysler was identified as Austin Lee Lawhorn, 26 of Moneta.
Lawhorn was wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 38-year-old woman, along with two 12-year-old passengers were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
All three people in the Toyota were wearing their seatbelts.
The crash is still under investigation.
