BLAND COUNTY, Va. – A 34-year-old Virginia man died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 77 northbound in Bland County on Sunday, according to Virginia State Police.
At about 3 p.m., 34-year-old Jarrod B. Chafin, of Abingdon, was headed north near the 56-mile marker when he veered off the interstate to the right and hit a guardrail.

At this time, it is unclear what may have led to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, Virginia State Police said.
