BLACKSBURG, Va. – After months of construction and anticipation, the Sheetz in Blacksburg is finally open.
People flocked to the new convenience store to fill up their tanks and their stomachs.
It’s located just off South Main Street next to the B&B Movie Theater.
We asked customers what they thought of the store, and how excited they were to have a Sheetz in town.
“I’m so excited,” said one customer. “I love Sheetz. I have the rewards program so I get gas for cheaper which is really nice.”
“Favorite things — they’re open late, [and] the food is better than Wawa, controversial opinion but I’ll take my chicken quesadilla any day,” said a Virginia Tech cadet.
Inside, the convenience store has a huge selection of snacks, candy, drinks, and of course, made-to-order food.
