The Montgomery County School Board unanimously voted to appoint Roanoke law firm Gentry Locke to lead a review surrounding the deaths of two Blacksburg students.

The vote comes a week after the school board announced that it would seek a third-party review pertaining to the Nov. 7 deaths of Serenity Hawley and her former boyfriend, Croney Monk.
As we’ve previously reported, the Blacksburg High School seniors were found in a car in a parking garage on University City Boulevard.

The family of one of the victims told 10 News it was a murder-suicide.
