MARTINSVILLE, Va. – UPDATE
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has released more information about the armed robbery at the jewelry store in Martinsville.

According to Sheriff Wayne Davis, three suspects wearing masks went into the Eden Jewelry store around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
When they got inside, Davis said they pulled out a firearm and demanded jewelry.
Three employees inside the store at the time were detained by the suspects and placed in the back room during the robbery, authorities said. A customer who entered the store during the robbery was also detained.
After collecting an undisclosed amount of jewelry, the three suspects fled the scene in a 2014 Red KIA Sorento, authorities said.
All three people involved were said to be speaking Spanish during the robbery.

The Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a jewelry store in Martinsville.
Authorities said the incident happened at Eden Jewelry on Memorial Blvd. on Tuesday morning around 10:30.
According to Sheriff Wayne Davis, there were three suspects, who were described as men wearing masks. Davis said they detained customers in the back of the store while they stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
”This is an egregious robbery here, and we will not tolerate this. We will work relentlessly until we solve it,” Davis said.
