BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – It’s not every day you wake up to a bear taking a morning stroll in your neighborhood, but people at the Daleville Town Center were in for quite the surprise when they got out of their beds Friday morning — some might even call it an “unbearable” experience.
On the hunt for its next meal, the big bear made a quick trip to a neighborhood trash can.
It was the last thing morning walkers and schoolchildren expected to see as they started their day. Even the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Deputy was called into action.
People were shocked, to say the least, taking out their phones and recording the “beary” surprising visitor.
After a few patrol car loud horns and a lot of encouragement from law enforcement, the big fella made his way back into the woods.
