We’re told the two-vehicle crash happened at 10:40 a.m., leaving one person injured.
ORIGINAL STORY
A crash on Interstate 81 southbound in Botetourt County currently has traffic at a standstill.
At this time, the south left lane, right lane and right shoulder near Exit 160.2 are shut down and emergency vehicles are on scene responding to an overturned vehicle.
As of 11:24 a.m., traffic backups are approximately 4.5 miles.
It is unknown if anyone was injured as a result of this crash, but we have reached out to Virginia State Police to learn more.
