Pulaski County leaders install cam at Randolph Park Pool to show clean up efforts

DUBLIN, Va. – Cleanup efforts have begun at the Randolph Park Poolhouse.

Pulaski County leaders say crews have put up camera to show cleaning efforts.

They say most of the rubble is gone and some parts of the facility remain after a fire burned a significant portion of facility.

Leaders say there is no word on how the fire started before the Memorial Day Holiday.

County leaders say the facility is a total loss and now they are in talks with the insurance company and engineers to build a new facility.

leaders say funding is limited.

“We’ve got excellent staff and engineers who are going to design and pretty much engineer for the next 25 years, so that is a fun and exciting process we have a lot of limitations on the footprint on the site and lot of limitations on the funding,” Jonathan Sweet, Pulaski County Administrator said.

Leaders say the camera will remain in place until clean up is complete.
