Drivers can expect delays due to crashes on I-81 southbound in Rockbridge County, according to VDOT.
Authorities said the crashes happened at mile markers 190.2 and 193.7.
As of 1:31 p.m., traffic backups are approximately 2.5 miles at mile marker 190.2.
As of 1:41 p.m., the south left shoulder and left lane are closed, and traffic backups are approximately 2 miles at mile marker 193.7.
