Lynchburg Peacemakers work to install neighborhood cameras after tragic shooting

In remembrance of a life taken too soon, the organization will have cameras installed on Floyd Street

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Peacemakers are stepping in to help reduce crime and help residents feel safe again after 6-year-old Kingston Campbell was shot and killed while playing video games on his bed.

In remembrance of a life taken too soon, the organization will have cameras installed on Floyd Street, the same street that Campbell lived on.

The cameras were purchased with donations collected by Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Those who wish to have cameras installed in their neighborhood are asked to contact the Lynchburg Peacemakers.

At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the tragic death of Kingston.
