ROANOKE, Va. – UPDATE
A man has passed away following a shooting at The Cove at Peter’s Creek in Northwest Roanoke Monday night (May 8), according to the Roanoke Police Department.
At 8:20 p.m., Roanoke Police were alerted that a man had been shot in the 3800 block of Panorama Avenue NW.
Officers arrived at the scene to find a man with what appeared to be serious injuries lying in a parking lot in the area.
Roanoke Police then rendered aid until Roanoke Fire-Ems personnel arrived.
The man was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he later died, authorities said.
We’re told no suspects were found at the scene and no arrests have been made as this remains an ongoing homicide investigation.
