BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – One Bedford County family in our community is spreading kindness.
Jennifer Kohn and her family operate a flower farm. This year, the family plans to sell “Random Acts of Kindness” flower subscriptions.
Customers can send them to anyone or any group and keep them anonymous if they want.
Kohn said she started the farm to give her son, Max Lejase, who has autism, a job.
“I learn communication and travel the community,” Max said.
Kohn said the farm invites others with autism to come help on the farm.
“The random acts of kindness are a huge part of what we do,” Kohn said. “Social skills training, and integrating folks with autism into the community.”
They expect to have flowers around the end of March or early April.
