LYNCHBURG, Va. – A man was arrested and charged after a shots fired incident in Lynchburg Wednesday night, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.

Police said just before 9 p.m., several 911 callers reported hearing shots fired in the 6200 block of Old Mill Road.
Officers say they responded to the scene and found an unoccupied vehicle with the driver’s door open, a handgun near the vehicle and several cartridge casings.
Upon investigation, officers located the suspect in the area on foot and took him into custody without incident, LPD said.
Authorities said no one was reported injured as a result of the incident and no property was found to be damaged.
The suspect was identified as Seandre Bradley, 26, of Lynchburg, police said.
Bradley was charged with the following:
- Possession of a firearm by a violent felon
- Reckless handling of a firearm
- Discharge of a firearm in the city
- Public intoxication
Bradley was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail where he is being held without bond, according to police.
LPD said this is an ongoing investigation.
