BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – One person is hurt after a crash with a Botetourt County Public Schools bus Thursday afternoon, according to the Botetourt County Department of Fire & EMS.

Crews said the crash happened around 2:55 p.m. on Route 220 across from Ikenberry Orchard.
BCPS said bus number 68 was involved in the crash while they were at a stop, and that all students and the bus driver were okay.
The driver of the car involved was trapped inside, according to authorities.
We’re told the car was lodged deeply under the year of the bus.
After the driver was removed from the car safely, they were transported to a medical facility to be treated, crews said. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
