Finish line in sight for “Home for Good”

Construction is expected to wrap up in a few weeks

ROANOKE, Va. – The finish line is in sight for this year’s “Home for Good.”

Now that the major construction work is out of the way, crews and volunteers are starting to put the final touches on this year’s home.

Wednesday team members from Capps Home Building Center volunteered at the site.

They poured concrete to make the front walkway for the home. They also worked on interior trim.

Capp’s chief operating officer says philanthropy is a part of the company’s philosophy.

“Affordable housing is such an issue nationwide as well as regionally, so to be able to support an organization like Habitat for Humanity is a great honor for us,” said Ryan Cappellari.

Construction on this year’s “Home for Good’ is expected to wrap up in a few weeks.
