LYNCHBURG, Va. – This guy needs a lot of room when it comes to cuddling after playtime.
Meet Finley, a seven-year-old dog that weighs in at 85 pounds according to the Lynchburg Humane Society website.
Finley’s a potty-trained pro, full of energy, and would love to meet you – seriously – shelter staff said that he loves meeting humans so much that if you take him on a walk, he does best in a harness.
He might as well be kicking it with rabbits because shelter staff said he loves to chomp down on carrots.
Now, Finely is just patiently waiting for a hound-loving family to finally welcome him home, shelter staff said.
Since he has so much energy, Finley would do best in a home that offers lots of room to run and play, and shelter staff added that his ideal home would be preferably one with older kids and no cats.
Not only is this guy your ideal extroverted workout partner, but he knows tricks, too.
Shelter staff said he knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and be easy. Of course, Finley would love a carrot as a reward.
Finley’s adoption fee is sponsored by Kimberly Angel in memory of Teddy, according to the LHS website.
If you want to meet Finley in all of his handsome, energetic glory in person or learn more about adopting him, you can contact the Lynchburg Humane Society by email at adoption@lynchburghumane.org or by phone at 434-448-0088 x 100.
