ROANOKE, Va. – It’s going to be a month full of events at Dr Pepper Park at the Bridges.
The second week of August is a “Flashback Friday” show with a Billy Joel and Elton John tribute.
That will be followed by a soul rock show with JJ Grey.
Later in the month, a local favorite, Indigo Girls make an appearance at the Bridges.
Then the month wraps up with the 13th Annual Roanoke Wing Fest.
“We have festivals, we have concerts, we have tribute artists, we have national acts. People seem to really like what we are doing here, what we are providing for the community, and again we are just so thankful,” said Dr Pepper Park’s President, Waynette Anderson.
