UPDATE

A man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after Leeann Haun was found dead at a Roanoke park last week, according to the Roanoke Police Department.

We’re told the suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Richard Quarles.

Roanoke Police says this is an ongoing investigation.

Authorities have released further details after a body was found at a park in Roanoke.

Authorities said they received a 911 call around 4:20 a.m. Friday and when officers arrived at the scene, they said they found an unresponsive woman with injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin has been notified, according to police.

Authorities said no suspects were found at the scene and no arrests have been made.

According to police, this is being investigated as a homicide.
