PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly stabbing that happened Thursday night.
At about 9:41 p.m., authorities were alerted that a person had been stabbed at 1050 Sportsman Road in Dry Fork.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a man who was stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene by rescue personnel, according to authorities.
The sheriff’s office says that the deadly stabbing was a result of an altercation.
The man was identified as 27-year-old Kenneth Lee Osborne Jr., of Dry Fork.
His body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause and manner of death.
Authorities disclosed that investigators are continuing to interview witnesses in this incident.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
The case remains under investigation.
