LYNCHBURG, Va. – Pour yourself a glass and get ready for spring with the Lynchburg Wine & Music Festival this Saturday. The festival will take place at the Lynchburg City Stadium and will be held from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
More than 80 vendors, including local wineries and cideries, artisans, and crafters, local businesses and food offerings will be there.
Each visitor gets a festival wine glass and you can enjoy samples of different Virginia wines and ciders. Featured wineries include Virginia Mountain Vineyards, Fables & Feathers Winery, Lazy Days Winery and Ankida Ridge Vineyards.
“People are excited to be back in the swing of things with festivals. It is just going to be a lot of fun this weekend. Being able to gather with friends and have some wine and listen to some live music,” said Kim Jennings, the Director of OMINE Productions, Inc.
There will also be local craft beer available including Devil’s Backbone, Blue Mountain Brewery, Bold Rock and Apocalypses Ale Works.
Musical performances on Saturday include The Karlee Raye Trio, The Frequency, The Dundies and Mended Fences.
