ROANOKE, Va. – The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Monday afternoon.
At about 4:45 p.m., the police department was alerted by Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital that a man with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital via personal transport.

Officers responded to the hospital and were able to discover that the shooting took place inside a home in the 1000 block of Fairfax Ave NW.
No suspects were found at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Police said details are limited at this time.
