ROANOKE, Va. – Soar into spring with Treetop Quest at Explore Park this weekend.
The aerial adventure and zipline course opens on Saturday, April 2, and the course is for anyone who is aged four and up.
The Treetop Quest has progressively challenging aerial obstacles, and there are four different courses that allow you to soar through the forest on Tarzan swings, traverse cargo nets, balance on tightropes, and fly across zip-lines.
“It is an adventure for all ages and it is one of those things where a lot of people are thrill seekers and love it, but then there are some people out here who are a little bit uneasy about it,” said Alex North, the marketing and administrative coordinator at Explore Park. “Once they get out on the course, you know their fear goes away, they have a great time seeking their own adventure out there.”
During the spring, Treetop Quest is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once the summer season hits on May 27, the course is open on weekdays and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Explore Park also offers Twilight Ziplines on three different Saturdays throughout the season. You can strap a light to your helmet and soar through the trees in darkness.
