Henry and Floyd counties holding students at school for safety due to severe storms

Officials said student arrival times home will be delayed

As parts of our viewing area have been experiencing severe storms Tuesday, Henry County and Floyd County schools are taking action to keep students safe.

The two school districts announced they are holding students at school for safety purposes as severe weather is hitting the area.

Officials said student arrival times home will be delayed.

Henry County is currently under a tornado warning until 4:15 p.m. while Floyd County is under a tornado watch until 7 p.m.
